Accepted participants will have the opportunity to present their work and research and discuss it with the SSNR2026 community. We welcome student contributions during SSNR2026 via posters and oral presentations. We may also explore the possibility of publishing the abstracts (e.g., a special issue in a journal or a book of abstracts). Students are expected to participate in both the posters and oral presentations – if you would like to do so, please make sure you submit both forms.

Posters

All accepted students and attendees are expected to display a poster during SSNR2026! Posters are hung the full duration of SSNR, and students are strongly encouraged to stand at their poster during each coffee break to discuss their posters.

Poster preparation instructions:

  • The deadline to sign up to display a poster is May 22, 2026. Poster sign-up is now closed.
  • Poster dimensions should be no larger than 70cm (height) x 90 cm (width)
  • Authors are free to create their own poster design; there are no particular style requirements
  • Fixation material will be provided onsite
  • Please let us know if you need to ship your poster to the venue prior to the start of SSNR2026 and we will provide you with shipping instructions.

Contributions (Abstracts and Oral Presentations)

After the selection process of SSNR2026, accepted participants will be given the possibility to submit abstracts (2 pages) to be considered to present during the noted Student Presentation slots, delivered in the plenary room. We may also explore the possibility of publishing the abstracts (e.g., a special issue in a journal or a book of abstracts). A sample abstract template can be downloaded here.

Contributions should be focused on your main PhD/research activity. If you want, you may give special relevance to the aspects that you consider better match with SSNR2026 topics.

Student Abstracts and/or Oral Presentation instructions:

  • In order to be considered, it is mandatory to submit your title, short abstract, and attach the 2-page abstract (PDF or Word doc format).
  • The deadline to submit an abstract for consideration is May 22, 2025.
  • The Organization Committee will notify students selected for oral presentations by May 27, 2026, 5:00 pm CEST.
  • Student oral presentations should be 10 minutes long, with an additional 5 minutes of Q&A.
